How are Endometriosis and Infertility linked with each other?

If you know anybody with endometriosis you may know it may cause painful cramping throughout their menstrual cycle. Some girls are entirely incapacitated by this pain. However, what is endometriosis, treatments for endometriosis and why do we care?

Endometriosis is when the endometrial lining in the uterus is found growing everywhere in the body. Frequently it is found climbing on the ovaries or elsewhere in the gut along with the pain that girls feel since those cells do their job every month by shedding together with the endometrial lining from the uterus.

Another reason we care about endometriosis is the fact that it is a frequent finding with infertile girls. It is believed that 5-10percent of women may have endometriosis, but it is believed that 20% of girls that cannot conceive have endometriosis.

So how can you know whether you have endometriosis – or endo? Some girls may suspect they've endo as a result of extreme cramping throughout their menstrual cycle. However, there are several other symptoms, also. Some girls do not have some pauses during their cycle in any way. Some girls have lower back pain.  Some girls may have pain during bowel movements or urinating.

A lot of women realize that the subsequent few cycles once they have recovered are their comfort and their physician might want to benefit from the elimination of the endo and push forward.

Continuing with intrauterine insemination (IUI) is an excellent idea or moving to Vitro fertilization (IVF) – only based on what you are most comfortable with – since though the endo was eliminated there is no way to understand how ENSO affects fertility. Doctors all have great guesses but there is no response yet.

Thus, let your doctor give you good counsel. Know what you can do about endometriosis since it's likely to Conquer Infertility.
